Jönköping man sentenced to eight months for exposing himself to 14 women

A 25‑year‑old man was convicted of multiple sexual offences in central Jönköping after a series of incidents between April and May. He first exposed himself to a female passenger on a bus on 21 April, then repeated the behaviour near Rocksjön and at Dunkehalla cemetery, affecting a total of 14 women. The court sentenced him to eight months in prison and also upheld a conviction for aggravated home invasion. A psychiatric assessment concluded that he did not suffer from a severe mental disorder. He remains in custody pending further proceedings.

The sentencing follows a trial that detailed the man's repeated exposure of himself to women in public spaces, with victims reporting attempts to escape but being followed by the offender.
