Jönköping motorists receive 70,000 SEK in parking fines

Sixty-five motorists received parking fines totaling nearly 70,000 SEK following a J-Södra football match at Stadsparksvallen in Jönköping. The match, which offered free entry, drew the season's largest crowd.

Due to a shortage of official parking spaces, many attendees parked on grass areas within Stadsparken. Two parking wardens issued fines of 1,050 SEK per vehicle during the event. Per Olsson, the municipality's parking official, noted that visitors should plan their travel better for large events and utilize alternative parking areas nearby, even if they require walking further to the arena.
