János Lázár tasked with Fidesz party infrastructure assessment

János Lázár has been tasked by the Fidesz party leadership to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the party’s national infrastructure and regional organizations following recent election losses.

According to Fidesz press officer Bertalan Havasi, the mission is an official request from the party president and the Fidesz presidency to evaluate the state of the party's organizational framework. Lázár is expected to prepare a report for the Fidesz presidency by September, which will serve as a basis for evaluating the party’s future options.

Recent activity includes meetings in Vas County, specifically in Szombathegy, where Lázár met with local representatives, including Péter Ágh and Zsolt Németh V. While some reports suggested these meetings were for providing instructions on future tasks, Zsolt Németh V. characterized the discussions as an exchange of experiences regarding organizational renewal and constructive activities within the party's framework.
