Jo Adell returns to Angel Stadium following trade to Guardians

Jo Adell made his first appearance at Angel Stadium as a member of the Cleveland Guardians following his trade deadline move from the Los Angeles Angels. The Angels honored the former first-round pick with a tribute video and a standing ovation during his first at-bat.

Adell, who had a breakout 2025 season with 37 home runs, was traded to the Guardians in exchange for catching prospect Jacob Cozart. Reflecting on his time with the organization, Adell expressed gratitude, stating, “I turned into a man and a big leaguer in the Angels organization.”

In the game, Adell went 1-for-3 with an RBI as the Guardians secured a 4-2 victory over the Angels.
