Jo Nesbø promotes new novel in Croatia

Norwegian author Jo Nesbø is visiting Croatia to promote his latest novel, ‘Završni kadar’ (Final Cut). Following a presentation at the Mediterranean Book Festival in Split, where he addressed fans at the Gripe venue, the author is scheduled to appear at the Tvornica kulture in Zagreb on Sunday, September 27.

‘Završni kadar’ is the fourteenth installment in the series featuring detective Harry Hole. In this novel, Hole has transitioned from police work to working for an insurance company in Oslo, but is drawn back into criminal investigations by his stepson, Oleg Fauke. Nesbø noted during his appearances that while he continues to write daily, he believes he has yet to write his best work.

Nesbø, whose works have been translated into over 50 languages, also discussed his diverse background in football, finance, and music. His connection to Croatia includes previous visits dating back to the era of Yugoslavia and literary inspirations drawn from the Croatian War of Independence.
