Jo Nesbø releases 14th Harry Hole novel ‘Nådeskudd’

Author Jo Nesbø has released the 14th installment in his Harry Hole series, titled ‘Nådeskudd’. The novel follows a series of grotesque murders in Oslo during the month of January, involving a killer who films their crimes.

In this new entry, Harry Hole has left the police force to work as an investigator for an insurance company. He becomes involved in a murder case involving suspected insurance fraud. The story also features Oleg Fauke, Harry’s stepson, who has begun a new career as an investigator in the homicide department.

Nesbø, who has sold over 60 million copies of his books, described his connection to the character, noting a shared sense of pessimism and melancholy. The release follows the recent success of the Netflix series based on the Harry Hole universe.
