Jo Nesbø releases Kill Shot, 14th Harry Hole novel

Norwegian bestselling author Jo Nesbø has released Kill Shot, the 14th installment in his Harry Hole crime series. The novel, spanning 528 pages, follows a series of brutal murders occurring in Oslo around the New Year.

In this installment, Harry Hole has transitioned from an active police detective to working in the insurance sector. However, he is drawn back into investigations when a killer begins recreating disturbing scenes from classic psychological thrillers, such as ‘Se7en’ and ‘Zodiac’, and posting the clips online. The investigation involves Hole’s stepson, Oleg Fauke, who has taken on a formal role in homicide, and police psychologist Hilde Witt.

The plot centers on the cinematic nature of the crimes, with the killer using film motifs to manipulate investigators and draw specific attention to Hole.
