JO of &TEAM to star in upcoming dance film ‘One Dance’

New behind-the-scenes photos and details have been released for the upcoming film ‘One Dance’, starring JO from the global group &TEAM in his first leading role. The film, directed by Naoya Kusaba and based on the manga by Kohi, is scheduled for release on November 27.

To prepare for the role of Kabo, the cast underwent months of intensive dance training. Dance supervisor Kanttaro announced the appointment of specific supervising dancers for various characters. Runa Miura was selected to supervise JO’s dance style, focusing on expressing the character’s internal emotions and motivations. Kanttaro noted that the training aimed to ‘release’ JO’s latent potential and emotional expression.

Other supervising dancers include KANU, who worked with Ikebata Anji to develop the character Wanda, and various other artists supporting the film’s ensemble. The musical score features contributions from origami PRODUCTIONS and GuruConnect, with participating artists including Nenashi, Michael Kaneko, and Daichi Yamamoto.
