JO1 and INI highlight growth through US tours and intensive training

Japanese boy bands JO1 and INI are making significant strides in their international and professional development.

JO1 has announced its first North American tour, coinciding with the October 2 release of their US debut EP, ‘ANIMAL’. The group is scheduled to perform at Webster Hall in New York on October 4, marking their return to the city after a year and a half. Members expressed excitement about performing their new material and noted the differences in fan engagement between Japan and the United States.

Meanwhile, the 11-member group INI recently discussed their early career challenges on the program ‘Tokyo Midnight Music’. The members reflected on the gap in experience they felt when performing at KCON 2022 LA shortly after their debut. To overcome these hurdles and bridge the skill gap with global artists, members engaged in intensive individual training, including solo studio sessions and street performances.
