JO1 announces 11th single ‘AAO’ and anime theme ‘IGNITE’

The global boy group JO1 has announced the tracklist for their 11th single, ‘AAO’, scheduled for release on November 18. The group has also begun the digital pre-release of the title track, ‘IGNITE’, as of September 9.

‘IGNITE’ serves as the opening theme song for the ‘Tokyo Revengers: Three Deities Arc’ anime series. Members Shoya Kijima and Junki Kono contributed to the song's lyrics. The track features a powerful band sound designed to express the group's energy in the face of adversity.

For this release, members have taken a more hands-on role in production than in previous works. Ren Kawashiri participated in a song camp in South Korea to help create the track ‘MATCHA’, while Junki Kono participated in the production of the fan song ‘PEKO PEKO’. The single will include a total of four tracks: ‘IGNITE’, ‘MATCHA’, ‘There Can Be Nothing Better’, and ‘PEKO PEKO’.
