FC Barcelona announced that 21‑year‑old right‑back Joan Anaya has transferred to UE Sant Andreu, a Primera RFEF (third‑division) club. Barcelona will retain a percentage of any future sale of the player.

Anaya joined Barcelona’s La Masia academy in 2015 from Reus Deportiu and progressed through the youth ranks. He made 32 appearances for Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic), providing four assists, but never featured for the first team. Injuries limited his development. His contract with Barcelona ran to 2027; he has now signed a two‑year deal with Sant Andreu until 2028.

The club thanked Anaya for his dedication and professionalism and wished him success in his new professional chapter.
