Joan Laporta named Cruyffista del Año 2026

FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta has been named ‘Cruyffista del Año 2026’ by the town council of Vallfogona de Riucorb. The award coincides with the 10th anniversary of the death of Johan Cruyff and the inauguration of a street named in the Dutch legend's honor.

During the ceremony, Mayor Francesc Llobet presented Laporta with a replica of the original street plaque. In return, Laporta presented the mayor with a commemorative shirt. The event included a photographic exhibition by Jordi Cotrina dedicated to Cruyff. Laporta was accompanied by several FC Barcelona officials, including institutional vice president Elena Fort and various club directors.
