Joanna Kołaczkowska festival announced for Warsaw

The first edition of the ‘Możliw – Festiwal Joanny Kołaczkowskiej’ is scheduled to take place on December 4 and 5, 2026, at the Terminal Kultury Gocław in Warsaw. The festival is an initiative by members of the cabaret group hrAbi to honor the memory and artistic legacy of Joanna Kołaczkowska.

Kołaczkowska, a prominent figure in the Polish cabaret scene known for her work with groups such as Potem and hrAbi, passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 59 due to cancer. The organizers stated they feel a profound need to preserve her memory and remind audiences of her unique talent, sensitivity, and sense of humor.

In addition to the festival, a book titled ‘Aśka. Joanna Kołaczkowska we wspomnieniach’, featuring reflections from family, friends, and colleagues, is set for release on October 28.
