Joanne Ireland, Dave Moir and Greg Peterson Inducted into Canadian Football Hall of Fame Media Wing

Joanne Ireland, veteran sports journalist of the Edmonton Journal, Dave Moir and former player‑turned‑broadcaster Greg Peterson will be inducted into the Media Wing of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame (CFHOF) in 2026. Jeff Hamilton, president of the Football Reporters of Canada, said the trio “demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence, precision and storytelling that has vastly enriched the coverage of our game.”

The three will be honored at the Football Reporters of Canada Hall of Fame Induction Brunch in Calgary on Sunday, 15 November, ahead of the Grey Cup. The CFHOF Class of 2026 will be formally welcomed at an evening induction ceremony on 17 September, followed by a halftime ceremony during the Hall of Fame Game on 18 September when the Montreal Alouettes visit the Hamilton Tiger‑Cats.
