Joao Reis da Silva and Mika Brunold to face off in Tulln Challenger final
The ATP Challenger tournament in Tulln, Austria, has set its final match between Brazilian Joao Reis da Silva and Swiss qualifier Mika Brunold.
Reis da Silva reached the final without dropping a set, defeating several seeded players, including Alex Molcan, Lukas Neumayer, and most recently, Argentina's Alex Barrena with a 6-2, 6-3 victory. A win could propel the 26-year-old into the ATP top 200 and mark the most significant title of his career.
Mika Brunold entered the tournament through the qualifying rounds. He secured his place in the final after defeating Brazilian Gustavo Heide in the quarterfinals and overcoming the fourth seed, Vitaliy Sachko of Ukraine, in the semifinals with a 6-0, 6-2 scoreline.
