Joaquín Cosío participates in FILDEC 2026 in Caborca

Actor, writer, and poet Joaquín Cosío participated in the VIII International Desert Book Fair of Caborca (FILDEC 2026) with a presentation titled ‘From acting to literature: word, character, and creative craft’. The event, held on a Saturday night, drew a large crowd of families, young people, and fans of cinema and literature.

During the session, Cosío shared reflections on his career, the creation of characters, and the connections between acting, literature, and poetry. Local officials, including Larissa Salazar, María Teresa de Jesús Rocha, Angélica Vanegas, and Gabriel Rivera, attended the event to present Cosío with a recognition for his contribution to the cultural community.

The fair is supported by the PROFEST program and continues with free activities at the Caborca Historical and Ethnographic Museum.
