Joaquín Ferreira stars as Luis Vadalá in Moria Casán biopic

Actor Joaquín Ferreira is gaining professional recognition for his portrayal of Luis Vadalá in the Netflix biopic about Moria Casán. Ferreira, 40, followed an unconventional path to acting, having previously studied art, architecture, graphic design, and advertising, and even operating a sushi restaurant.

His acting career began unexpectedly in Mexico after he was scouted for a commercial in Playa del Carmen. He subsequently underwent intensive training at TV Azteca, studying disciplines such as classical dance and stage combat. Ferreira gained significant fame through his role as Potro Romani in the Netflix series ‘Club de Cuervos’ and its spin-off ‘Yo, Potro’. After working internationally in Mexico, the United States, Spain, and the Dominican Republic, he has returned to Argentina to pursue professional opportunities in Buenos Aires.
