Mostar: Armed robbery at UniCredit bank branch

Two masked individuals carried out an armed robbery at a UniCredit bank branch in Mostar on Saturday afternoon. The attackers intercepted two security guards who were in the process of depositing money into the branch safe at the Mostarka building on Dubrovačka Street.

Using firearms to threaten the guards, the perpetrators stole an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing the scene. Following the robbery, police discovered a burned-out vehicle on a side road near the Mostar–Široki Brijeg highway, which is suspected to be the vehicle used by the attackers.

Ilijana Miloš, spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, confirmed that the Mostar Police Administration received the report around 15:40. Authorities are currently conducting an intensive investigation to identify and locate the suspects.
