In Agartala, tension arose near the Town Hall after police detained several TET-qualified candidates. The group had planned to march toward the Chief Minister’s residence to protest prolonged delays in the recruitment process. The protesters stated that despite meeting required qualifications and receiving repeated assurances from authorities, their demands for appointments remain unresolved. The candidates indicated they may continue their agitation if the government does not initiate recruitment promptly.
