Job fairs in northern Chile offer thousands of employment opportunities

Regional job fairs in northern Chile have provided thousands of employment opportunities across the Antofagasta and Atacama regions.

In Antofagasta, INACAP and the National Training and Employment Service (SENCE) organized an event featuring approximately 3,000 job openings. More than 40 companies from sectors including mining, hospitality, and services participated. The initiative aimed to promote formal employment and connect job seekers with market needs, providing guidance to over 1,000 attendees.

In Copiapó, SENCE and the Labor Directorate (Dirección del Trabajo) hosted a fair through the Regional Tripartite User Council of Atacama. This event offered around 900 opportunities from more than 25 companies in the mining, transport, construction, and service industries. The fair served as a direct meeting point between employers and the community to address regional unemployment figures.
