Jobsdb by SEEK hosts HR conference on AI and recruitment

Jobsdb by SEEK, a leading employment marketplace in Hong Kong, hosted its third annual HR Conference 2026 at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong. The event, themed ‘Empowering Talent and Technology Towards Tomorrow’, gathered approximately 500 human resources professionals to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on the workplace.

Daryl Lau, Sales Director for Hong Kong at Jobsdb by SEEK, noted that AI and innovative technologies are rapidly transforming recruitment and talent management. The conference addressed challenges such as intensifying competition among job seekers, high talent mobility, and rising recruitment costs for employers. Additionally, the platform highlighted a growing demand for AI skills and a shift in job seeker priorities toward purpose, growth opportunities, and inclusive workplace cultures.
