Jochen Bendel shares tribute to husband on social media

German presenter Jochen Bendel has shared a public tribute to his husband, Matthias Bendel-Pridöhl, via Instagram. In response to a fan inquiry regarding what he loves most about his partner, Bendel highlighted Matthias’s humor, reliability, and his ability to provide a sense of stability, stating, “He holds everything together.”

The couple has been in a relationship for approximately 14 years and married since August 2016 at Lake Starnberg. Despite an 18-year age difference, Bendel has maintained that “age is just a number.”

In 2020, the pair moved from Munich to Cuxhaven on the North Sea coast, where they operate an exclusive dog retreat. Bendel accompanied his message with a photograph of the couple embracing on a beach at sunset.
