Saget, who played Danny Tanner on the ABC sitcom, passed away at age 65 in January 2022 due to fatal blunt head trauma. Sweetin remarked that while his absence is deeply felt during cast reunions, Saget remains a frequent topic of conversation among the former co-stars.

The cast, which includes Candace Cameron Bure, John Stamos, and Dave Coulier, has previously described their bond as a real family that extended far beyond their time working together on television.
