Jodie Turner-Smith named in lawsuit involving brother's alleged misconduct

Actress Jodie Turner-Smith and her brother, Richard Smith, are facing a lawsuit filed by three unidentified women, referred to as Jane Does. The plaintiffs allege that Richard engaged in sexual battery, false imprisonment, fraud, and emotional distress by pressuring them into drug use and non-consensual sexual activities.

The lawsuit further alleges that Jodie Turner-Smith was aware of these activities and provided financial and logistical support to her brother, including funding his lifestyle, purchasing a vehicle for transporting drugs, and providing housing. Representatives for the actress have denied all allegations, describing the legal action as a “fictional lawsuit” filed by a person who has been harassing her.

Additionally, reports indicate that Joshua Jackson, Turner-Smith’s ex-husband, reportedly raised concerns regarding Richard Smith’s proximity to their daughter during their divorce and child custody proceedings. These concerns allegedly included Richard’s lack of a driver’s license and his involvement in the activities described in the current lawsuit.
