Joe Amabile shares health update following brain surgery

Reality television personality Joe Amabile has provided a health update one week after undergoing brain surgery to remove a tumor. Amabile, known for his appearances on ‘The Bachelorette’ and ‘Bachelor in Paradise’, revealed via Instagram that he was diagnosed with a very low-grade astrocytoma.

Amabile stated that surgeons were able to remove the entire tumor. His ongoing treatment plan will involve taking a daily pill for the rest of his life to prevent any remaining tumor cells from becoming active. He noted that while he initially struggled with speech and pain during the early stages of recovery, he is feeling positive and has been able to move off strong painkillers.

His wife, Serena Pitt, also shared updates on his recovery process. Amabile expressed gratitude to the medical team at NYU Langone for their care.
