Joe Bonamassa and Gov’t Mule perform co-headlining blues rock shows
Joe Bonamassa and Gov’t Mule have been performing a series of co-headlining shows, including recent dates at Wolf Trap in Virginia and the Youngstown Foundation Amp in Ohio.
During the performance in Youngstown on August 9, which marked the 31st anniversary of Jerry Garcia’s passing, Warren Haynes honored the Grateful Dead guitarist by performing “Bertha,” “Loser,” and “Shakedown Street.” Haynes notably used Garcia’s iconic “Wolf” guitar for these selections. The set also included a performance of Bruce Springsteen’s “Youngstown.”
Earlier in the tour, the duo performed at Wolf Trap, where Gov’t Mule delivered a set blending Southern rock, blues, and jazz, featuring songs such as “Mr. Man,” “Mother Earth,” and “Sco-Mule.” The tour continues with upcoming dates, including a scheduled appearance at the Rose Music Center at The Heights in Huber Heights, Ohio.
