Joe Bonamassa seeks help finding missing Josh Smith amplifier
Musician Joe Bonamassa has issued a public plea for assistance in locating a missing Two-Rock amplifier head belonging to his bandmate, Josh Smith. The equipment was last seen in Germany following a performance with the WDR Big Band in Leverkusen/Cologne on October 15.
The amplifier is housed in a black Two-Rock road case with the letters ‘JS’ stenciled on it. Bonamassa noted that while the equipment has not been officially confirmed as stolen, it remains missing despite a large amount of audio and broadcast gear being present at the venue. A generous reward is being offered for its safe return, and interested parties are encouraged to contact JR Adventures via email.
This is not the first time Bonamassa has used social media to recover gear; in 2021, a similar appeal led to the successful recovery of his Fender Custom Shop ’51 Nocaster.
