Joe Burrow and Ryan Rehkow named AFC Players of the Week

The NFL has announced the AFC Players of the Week for Week 7 of the 2026 season. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors following a 35-13 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. Burrow completed 22 of 30 passes for 292 yards and four touchdowns, leading the NFL in both touchdown passes and passer rating for the week. This performance marks Burrow’s ninth career AFC Offensive Player of the Week award, tying him with former Bengals MVP Boomer Esiason for the most in franchise history.

Bengals punter Ryan Rehkow was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week. Rehkow averaged 46 yards per punt, with all four punts pinning Baltimore inside their own 20-yard line. This is the first time a Bengals punter has received the honor since 2013.

Denver Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week after recording 19 tackles in a game against Arizona.
