Joe Fades Cut launches free barbering training for Namibian youth
Joe Fades Cut has announced the second intake of its youth skills-development programme, offering free barbering training to ten unemployed young Namibians in Windhoek. The one-month, fully funded initiative is delivered through the Joe Fades Cut Foundation.
Participants will receive instruction in practical barbering, customer service, professional conduct, and basic business skills. The programme aims to combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience under professional guidance to prepare graduates for employment in the grooming industry or for self-employment through entrepreneurship.
Founder Joel Mwatilefu stated that the initiative is part of the brand’s commitment to investing in people and giving back to the community. Applications for the programme will be open from 18 to 28 September 2026.
