Joe Gacy injured during GCW Championship match

Joe Gacy, performing as Joseph Sawyer, suffered a knee injury during a GCW Score event while defending his GCW Championship against John Jeffrey. The injury occurred after Jeffrey hit Gacy with a cannonball in the corner, causing Gacy’s knee to go numb and preventing him from finishing the match.

Following the incident, Gacy initially expressed concern that the injury might sideline him for months. However, he later provided an update on social media, stating, “Not sure, but I think the knee will be okay for now.”

The injury follows Gacy’s recent debut in TNA Wrestling alongside Samuel Shaw, appearing as mystery attackers on TNA iMPACT earlier this week.
