Joe Hendry discusses WWE career and locker room camaraderie

WWE performer Joe Hendry recently shared insights into his professional wrestling career and his experiences within the company. Hendry revealed that early in his career, he harbored doubts about his physique, fearing he was not large enough to succeed as a wrestler. However, his experience on the independent circuit changed his perspective as he realized he was often larger than his opponents.

Reflecting on his rise to the main roster, Hendry recalled advice from John Cena regarding his appearance at the Royal Rumble. When Hendry asked how to make his interaction with Roman Reigns impactful, Cena advised him that the moment was not about the interaction itself, but rather about his entrance.

Additionally, Hendry highlighted the camaraderie within the WWE locker room through an anecdote from a South American tour. After Hendry struggled to find his signature blue shirt and white trousers while traveling, fellow wrestler Penta assisted him. Penta’s daughter helped procure the attire, which Penta provided to Hendry as a gift from his family.
