Joe Hendry reveals how creative pivots led to WWE debut and new album

WWE wrestler Joe Hendry has revealed that his upcoming debut album, ‘Beyond Belief’, and his successful ‘Fire Logan Paul’ song were both products of unexpected creative pivots.

During an interview on the ‘Insight with Chris Van Vliet’ podcast, Hendry explained that his original plan for his RAW debut following WrestleMania 42 was to use a song that teased a move to SmackDown before revealing he had signed with RAW. However, because WWE announced his appearance ahead of schedule, the surprise was spoiled. Hendry decided to pivot by targeting Logan Paul, a high-profile and controversial figure, which resulted in the hit song ‘Fire Logan Paul’.

The album project itself began by accident. Hendry initially believed he was being called up to the SmackDown roster after a musical performance involving The Miz. This led to discussions with WWE Head of Music, Neil Lawi, about releasing audio from his performances. What began as a single evolved into an EP and eventually a full-length album, much of which consists of new material. Hendry noted that he was able to record the main vocal tracks for the entire album in just five hours.
