Joe Hisaishi sets three Guinness World Records

Joe Hisaishi, the renowned Japanese composer and conductor famous for his Studio Ghibli film scores, has set three Guinness World Records.

The first record was achieved at the Tokyo Dome, where his Studio Ghibli film concert tour sold 133,453 tickets over two days. The second record pertains to ticket sales at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, where his performances sold 45,538 tickets.

The third record recognizes Hisaishi for the longest consecutive series of performances by a classical composer at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Following his residency, Hisaishi expressed his gratitude for the global audience support.
