Joe Jonas describes terrifying boat accident in Italy

Singer Joe Jonas experienced a frightening accident during a vacation in Portofino, Italy, when he fell into the water between a yacht and a smaller tender boat.

While traveling with his girlfriend Tatiana Gabriela, Morgan Stewart, and Jordan McGraw, the group attempted to transfer from their yacht to a restaurant's vessel. During the transfer in rocky waters, a wave pushed the tender boat away from the yacht as Jonas was stepping across. Jonas fell into the gap between the two vessels, and the first mate also fell into the water while attempting to assist him.

Jonas, who was fully clothed with his phone in his pocket, described the experience as “terrifying.” To avoid the yacht's rear engines, he attempted to climb onto the tender boat, falling back into the water once before successfully rolling onto the vessel.
