Joe Jonas discusses panic attacks following solo album commercial failure
Musician Joe Jonas has opened up about the mental health struggles he faced following the commercial underperformance of his debut solo album, 'Fastlife'. Speaking on the 'Hey Jonas!' podcast alongside his brothers Kevin and Nick, Jonas revealed that the lack of success triggered panic attacks and physical pain during his early twenties.
Jonas explained that he felt a deep need to prove his individual worth independent of the Jonas Brothers' success. He stated, "If I do that, then I matter," noting that the discrepancy between his previous musical achievements and the solo project's reception was difficult to navigate. While he initially resisted professional help, he eventually sought therapy, an experience he described as transformative and helpful for managing life's subsequent challenges.
