Joe Rogan criticizes Trump supporters boycotting Jelly Roll

During a recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, podcast host Joe Rogan criticized Donald Trump supporters who have called for a boycott of country music star Jelly Roll. The backlash follows a guest-hosting appearance by Jelly Roll on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ in late August, where the singer made jokes at the expense of the former president.

During his monologue, Jelly Roll compared his own 300-pound weight loss to Trump’s approval ratings and referred to the politician as a “fat pig.” In response, many Trump supporters expressed their disapproval on social media, vowing to stop listening to the artist's music.

Speaking with comedian Ron White, Rogan described the supporters as “rabid” and suggested that the intense reaction stems from viewing Trump as a savior rather than just a person. While Rogan found the comedic segment “hilarious,” he noted that targeting Trump as a country artist is a risky move given the size of that specific audience.
