Pakistan batting collapses at Edgbaston despite Razaullah's debut success

Pakistan's batting lineup struggled significantly during the first day of the third Test against England at Edgbaston. Following a series of poor performances, the team was bowled out for 133 runs, with eight players failing to reach double figures. This collapse continues a trend for Pakistan, who already trail 2-0 in the three-match series.

Despite the batting difficulties, 21-year-old fast bowler Razaullah made a highly impactful Test debut. In his very first over, he dismissed England captain Joe Root via an LBW, bowling at speeds exceeding 90 mph (approximately 145 km/h). Razaullah, who was selected for the squad despite initial logistical challenges regarding his passport, also claimed a second wicket against Emilio MG.

The Pakistani squad has undergone significant changes for this match, including the introduction of several new players and a new coaching setup featuring Mike Hesson and Ashley Novke. While the bowling showed promise through Razaullah's performance, England maintained a substantial lead by the end of the day.
