Journalist and communication strategist Joel Suero will participate as a speaker in the panel ‘Medios en SDO: Origen, desarrollo y perspectiva de futuro’ during the Expo Feria Destino Oeste. The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the former Club de la Cdeee in Santo Domingo Oeste.

Suero, the founder of the digital media outlet Oeste Al Día, will discuss the origins of local journalism and how media outlets should navigate modern technological advancements, including Artificial Intelligence. He will be joined on the panel by Jeduar Reyes (CEO of Impacto Municipal), Olmedo Jaquez (CEO of Grupo de Medios Trapiche), and Francisco Marte (CEO of Perfil 224). The session will be moderated by América Pérez, General Secretary of the Santo Domingo Oeste branch of the Press Workers Union (SNTP/SDO).
