Joelina Drews reveals noble ancestry in family history

Singer Joelina Drews has revealed that her family possesses noble ancestry. During an episode of the podcast ‘Drews Cordalis Petry – Kids-Club’, the 31-year-old singer stated, ‘I am truly a descendant of a noble lineage.’

The lineage traces back to her father, Jürgen Drews, who was born Jürgen Ludwig Buttlar in 1945. His mother, Lieselotte, belonged to the ‘der von Buttlar’ family, described as an old Franconian-Hessian noble house. While the singer is widely known by the stage name Jürgen Drews, his birth name reflects these ancestral roots.

As a tangible connection to this history, the family still possesses a signet ring that belonged to Joelina’s grandmother, which is currently held by Jürgen Drews.
