Joelinton addresses Eddie Howe and Bruno Guimaraes departures

Newcastle United midfielder Joelinton has addressed the reported departures of teammate Bruno Guimaraes and head coach Eddie Howe. While neither Newcastle United nor Arsenal have officially confirmed reports that Guimaraes completed a £75 million transfer to Arsenal on August 8, Joelinton spoke candidly about the impact of both men on the club.

Joelinton expressed deep gratitude to Eddie Howe, noting that Howe’s trust was instrumental in his career transformation from a striker to a midfield player. He described Howe as a “great man” and a “great head coach” who helped revitalize his game.

Regarding Guimaraes, Joelinton praised the Brazilian’s professionalism and his connection with the fans, stating that while the decision to leave was difficult, the player made his choice. Looking toward the future, Joelinton expressed support for the club’s new head coach, Matthias Jaissle, emphasizing that the club must move forward.
