Joelma's legal team denies R$ 700,000 property debt

Legal representatives for singer Joelma have issued a clarification regarding a mansion in Ananindeua, Pará, following reports of significant unpaid condominium fees. The defense stated that the alleged debt of nearly R$ 700,000 is non-existent and actually refers to the value of a previous, now-concluded judicial lawsuit between Joelma and her former partner, Ximbinha (Cledivan Almeida Farias).

The legal team clarified that the property currently holds a minor outstanding debt of R$ 1,640.86 from December 2025. They asserted that this amount is the responsibility of Ximbinha, as he has maintained possession of the residence during that period. The former Banda Calypso members separated in 2015 after 18 years of marriage.
