Joey Calderazzo to Perform at Soverato Jazz Festival

On Friday 7 August 2026, the Armonie d’Arte Festival will present a concert at the Botanical Garden in Soverato, Calabria. The event features American jazz pianist Joey Calderazzo, who was born in 1965 in New Rochelle, New York, and whose family originates from Calabria.

Calderazzo will appear with his long‑time trio: bassist Orlando Le Fleming and drummer David Hawkins. The trio will play a program that mixes original compositions, standards and fresh interpretations of the jazz tradition.

Renowned for his percussive post‑bop style and past collaborations with Michael Brecker and the Branford Marsalis Quartet, Calderazzo’s appearance marks his only concert in southern Italy in 2026, highlighting the international reach of the Armonie d’Arte Festival.
