Joey Janela quits Produce Wrestling over dispute with promoter Adam Abdalla

Independent wrestler Joey Janela and his partner Megan Bayne were scheduled to curate and appear at Produce Wrestling's September 13 event in Jersey City. On August 4‑5, 2026, Janela announced that neither he nor Bayne would take part, stating he would no longer work for or with Produce Wrestling in any capacity. He attributed the split to a heated argument with promoter Adam Abdalla, also known as Orange Crush, describing Abdalla’s recent behavior as “absolutely unhinged, deplorable and embarrassing.” Janela also cited a cancelled flight to New York as a trigger for the dispute. Produce Wrestling said a new curator will be appointed for the event.
