Actor Joey King has addressed online speculation regarding whether she underwent plastic surgery prior to her appearance at the 2026 Met Gala. Speaking on the ‘In Your Dreams’ podcast with Owen Thiele, King denied having a facelift or any other cosmetic procedures.

King attributed her appearance to a specific beauty and wellness regimen. She revealed that she utilized a spray tan and underwent several treatments, including a facial and multiple lymphatic massages. Additionally, she performed a 36-hour water fast to ‘reset’ her body after attending a bachelorette party, noting that while the fast contributed to her look, she does not actively promote it.

King remarked that the intensive preparation worked, as the results led many to believe she had undergone surgical intervention when she had not.
