Borussia Dortmund midfielder Joey Veerman was officially honored by his former club, PSV Eindhoven, during a recent home match against Feyenoord Rotterdam. Following his €22 million transfer to Dortmund in the summer, the 27-year-old Dutch international returned to Eindhoven to receive a ceremonial farewell.

During the halftime interval, PSV presented Veerman with flowers and a framed club jersey. The player, who made 198 appearances for PSV between 2022 and 2026, completed a lap of honor in the stadium alongside his son, Frenkie. Fans showed their appreciation with banners reading ‘Danke, Joey’ and flags celebrating his three consecutive Eredivisie titles.
