Jogaram Patel claims BJP municipal wins reflect public trust in Rajasthan government

Rajasthan municipal elections BJP victory Jogaram Patel local body polls Indian politics

Rajasthan Law Minister Jogaram Patel stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) success in 27 municipal bodies reflects the public's trust in the current government's performance. Commenting on the results of the local body elections, Patel dismissed allegations of 'resort politics' made by the Congress party, characterizing the opposition's stance as a result of internal friction and frustration.

Patel highlighted that uncontested councillor representatives were elected in two municipal corporations, six councils, and a total of 30 municipal bodies. He also provided specific figures regarding party strength, noting that the BJP has approximately 80 members in Jaipur and 45 elected members in Jodhpur, including several supporting councillors. He attributed the electoral success to the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and the organizational strength of the state BJP president.
