Johan Derksen withdraws invitation for Cornald Maas to Vandaag Inside

Johan Derksen has retracted a potential invitation for Cornald Maas to appear as a guest on the talk show Vandaag Inside. Although Derksen had previously suggested calling Maas to join the program, he later stated that Maas does not fit the show's dynamic.

During the broadcast, Derksen referred to Maas as a ‘mietje’ (wimp), citing his obsession with the Eurovision Song Contest as a reason for his dismissal. While co-host Albert Verlinde defended Maas by noting his cultural knowledge and interview skills, Derksen questioned whether Maas possessed knowledge of topics like strip clubs, suggesting that without such familiarity, he would add nothing to the table.
