Johan Manzambi's Brace Powers Switzerland to 4-1 World Cup Victory Over Bosnia

Swiss forward Johan Manzambi scored two goals in Switzerland's 4-1 win against Bosnia and Herzegovina in a World Cup match. The teenager, aged 20, entered as a substitute and quickly made history by becoming the youngest player to score a brace for Switzerland in a World Cup fixture.

In the 97th minute Switzerland were awarded a penalty. Captain Granit Xhaka chose to take the kick himself, converting it to seal the win. Xhaka explained the decision, saying, “Ne kemi rregulla në ekip. Ai është i ri, ka një të ardhme të ndritur përpara, por penalltitë duhet të ekzekutohen nga lojtarë me përvojë.” Manzambi praised the outcome, noting the team’s victory mattered more than personal records.
