Johaneko and Carrizo find early success in new clubs

Johaneko Louis-Jean has established himself as a regular starter for Athletic Club under manager Edin Terzić. The 22-year-old, a natural right-back, has been utilized in a reversed role as a left-back, a move highlighted by his debut performance where he was tasked with containing Lamine Yamal at Camp Nou.

Maher Carrizo has made a successful debut for FC Copenhagen following his loan from Ajax. The 20-year-old winger, who previously played for Vélez Sarsfield, scored a penalty in the final minutes of a 5-0 victory against Odense BK. Carrizo joined the Danish side to secure more playing time after his stint in the Netherlands.
