Johann Ettinger Német Elméleti Líceum students attend EdU Camp 2026
Six students from the Johann Ettinger Német Elméleti Líceum participated in the international EdU Camp 2026, held in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, from September 20 to 26. The event was organized by the Hans Lindner Foundation as part of a partnership between Satu Mare County and the Ostalbkreis district.
Participants from Germany, France, Albania, Kosovo, and Romania engaged in workshops focused on dialogue, cooperation, and intercultural communication. Key topics included the media and democratic public space, smart cities, cybersecurity, crisis management, sustainable agriculture, and the role of EU ministers.
The program included a visit to the Deutsches Museum in Munich and a meeting with Günther H. Oettinger, a former EU Commissioner and Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg, allowing students to discuss European issues directly with a political leader. The camp concluded with a ceremony at the Prediger cultural center.
